Hitchin Forum and Clean Up Hitchin (https://www.cleanuphitchin.co.uk/) joined forces for a stupendous effort with 233 volunteers covering 16 sites across the town and collected 188 bags of rubbish. Little extras included in the haul at The Dell were a supermarket trolley, bathroom scales, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, 2 tents, sofa frame, shovel, cycling helmet, large gas bottle, bedsprings and a bicycle!
