Hitchin Town Hall 
refurbishment has been completed and is now open for business. North Herts District Museum is awaiting resolution of issues between NHDC and Hitchin Town Hall Ltd before it can fully open, the planned access being on the site of numbers 14 & 15 Brand Street which HTHLtd owns. NHDC has been negotiating to buy this plot over the past year, but agreement has been difficult to find++. Whilst the factions were seemingly close last autumn, tensions have surfaced – see the correspondence on the HTHLtd website . But!! the meeting between NHDC and HTHLtd on February 2nd has brought some good news. Read more on the Comet website.
