HF Litterpick Spring 2023

HF Spring Litterpick happened, despite the rain, on Sunday March 26th. Well done to the approximately 130 volunteers who battled the elements and did such a good clear up. Particular praise is due to former Hitchin resident, Chris Hall, who turned up at 7am from Stotfold with a very long litterpicker and cleared otherwise inaccessible rubbish, some of it many years old, from brambles around King George Playing Field. Thanks also to organizer Bill Sellicks and to North Herts Council for efficiently collecting the rubbish.
