In case you have ever wandered through the Market Place and admired the Cabbies’ Hut, which once stood on the station forecourt, and was lovingly restored by the Hitchin Historical Society, just admire the insensitivity of the utility company that has applied for permission to locate a large green box immediately beside the Hut. At the time of this posting we understand that they are reconsidering their application.
